City Highlights

Pictured are employees of Travis County EMS and Fire      Department that participated in an Aviation and Airpark Safety seminar at Joe Bain's home at the Lakeway Airpark in February 2007.  The meeting was continued at the Airpark to discuss different types of aircraft.   

Joe Bain presiding at the Annual Meeting of Lakeway Airpark in June 2006.  It was a busy year, a new terminal building was completed, built totally by donations.  A grand opening of the new terminal was held and all members, city council and police department were invited for dinner and entertainment.

Joe and his wife Nancy at Fish City Grill supporting the Green Santa organization.  They also worked in the Breakfast With Santa program taking and printing pictures of the kids with Santa.

As an amateur photographer, Joe has donated his time and skills as City Photographer for the July 4th festivities, Sing Along Programs and other city events.  Pictured is an award winning photo of Mansfield Dam during the July 2007 floods.  This picture was featured on KXAN TV along with many others donated to the media.
